The goals of the program during the planning phase include:
- Identify at-risk population and eligibility for services
- Develop appropriate collaborative protocols and agreements among tribal and community agencies
- Develop a five-year strategic plan that addresses the scope of the problem, identifies resources, and outlines collaborative community planning and services to address the problems; develop goals and objectives for prevention and reduction of impacts of violence
- Conduct a community assessment to document risk factors, resources, strengths, and barriers to services
- Develop plans for evaluating and measuring progress as well as for training and technical assistance
The Pueblo will develop and implement a coordinated planning process to address the needs of the service population and develop a full range of multi-disciplinary prevention, intervention, and treatment services utilizing community-based resources.
